Joomla is the second most popular content management system on the internet. Joomla powers hundreds of thousands of websites on the internet all around the globe. Each website runs in different parts of the world. So, we have to set the timezone according to our location as it can help our visitors understand the timings of our website.
For example, If your major audience is from the USA and the timezone of your site is set to IST, your USA audience will see different timings on the site. It is not a major issue if you are running a blog but if you are running a community website or an eCommerce store, timezone matters! You can update the timezone directly from the server level.
