FTP Settings in Joomla
To update FTP settings in Joomla, log in to the admin panel of your Joomla site and click on the System -> Global configuration option from the top navigation bar.
On this page, you can update the global configuration of your site. The page is divided into multiple tabs. To update FTP settings, click on the Server tab as highlighted in the following screenshot.
On this page, you will find a section with heading FTP Settings. First of all, click on the Yes button in a field labeled with Enable FTP text.
Then, Enter the FTP information in rest of the fields. You can easily generate a new FTP account from cPanel.
After filling up all the required information in the field, click on the Save button given at the top-left corner of the page to apply changes.
