Banners are used to get the attention of a potential customer. You can use banners to promote a hot new product, or an affiliate link, or earn money by allowing others to publish banners on your site. There are various uses of banners in the online world. The publishing and management of the banner is in-build with Joomla. In Joomla, we can manage banners with ease. It provides almost all the options we need to manage banners on our site.
In this tutorial, I am going to show you How to create a new banner in Joomla. So, Let’s get started with the tutorial.
Adding Banners in Joomla
To create a new banner in Joomla, Log in to the admin panel and click on the Components -> Banners -> Banners option from the top navigation bar.
On this page, you will see a list of existing banners on your site. To create a new banner, click on the New button given at the top-left corner of the page.
Now, you will see a banner creation form in the default tab. And there are two more tabs to manage Banner details and Banner publishing, just like the following image.
In the Banner Details tab, you can manage Impressions, Clicks, clients, Banner publishing cycles, and much more.
In the Publishing tab, you can manage the start and end publishing dates, meta information, and other options like that.
Fill up all the required information regarding a banner as per your requirements. Once done, click on the Save button given at the top-left corner of the page to save a new banner in the database.
